Biography
Amy began her accounting career with a firm called Lee and Berner as an intern in 1993. In 2007, Lee and Berner merged with DFC and Amy became an integral part of our Montevideo office. Now as a Partner, she oversees audit and other attestation engagements from start to finish and is involved in all aspects of the work, from planning through fieldwork and preparation of final deliverables.
Amy focuses primarily on our clients in the government and nonprofit industries including cities, school districts, and fire relief associations. Additionally, she handles numerous single audits.
One of her favorite things about DFC is the flexibility that she has while raising a family allowing her to volunteer at the school and attend extracurricular activities.

Fun Fact
Some of Amy’s hobbies include golfing, boating, and photography. When she isn’t busy with these activities, she enjoys sitting outside at their farm with a nice cup of coffee.
