Internships

Dana F. Cole & Company, LLP provides a variety of internships for college students. Our internships are generally offered in January for tax season and August for audit season.

The tax season internships primarily focus on tax processing. We strive to provide an opportunity for you to learn the basic elements of the different types of tax returns and the working parts of the tax software program.

The Auditing internships focus on auditing. From prep work to fieldwork, the fall internship will take you through almost every stage of an audit.

Minimum requirements for internships include:

Enrollment in or completion of intermediate accounting
A junior standing
Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Applications for both internships are accepted beginning in September of each year. Our internships are generally filled six months in advance, so apply early. Locations for internships are primarily in the Lincoln office, but may vary depending on each individual offices’ needs. For a complete listing of our locations visit our locations page.
